JustRite Friday Challenge 021 - Masculine Cards

JustRite stamps are something new for me. I have admired them since I started seeing them online, but finally made the plunge recently and purchased a few sets. What better way to learn the best way to use them than by participating in some of the challenges on the JustRite Stampers Blog. This weeks challenge is a masculine card - perfect for Father's Day coming up.

At card club, we talk about the importance of finishing off the inside of the card as well as the outside - something I don't always do. I added a simple little touch to this card though, giving it a cream color lining and a strip of the same striped paper I used on the front. I used my JustRite Domask Monogram Kit. The patterned card stock is from DCWV. I tried a little stitching and photo corners to give it a more manly look. I love the fancy labels Nestabilities over a black satin ribbon. I wish it showed up better in the photo, but I'm learning on that point as well.
I should be finishing my homework, so I've gotta go.
More soon!
Joy
